For although it makes no promises, it can help you more than all the other self-help books put together. Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy can teach any intelligent person how to stop feeling miserable about practically anything.
“Action Jack Extracts the Core of REBT,” is a recording of Dr. Ellis speaking on a radio show with host Jack McClendon, a.k.a., Action Jack. Dr. Ellis begins by explaining how he came up with the core concepts of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). He explains how REBT evolved from a combination of theories of desensitization plus philosophical elements.
Professionals will further their knowledge of rational-emotive and cognitive behavior therapy, as well as up-to-date research and clinical applications, and will receive individual supervision in small groups with a certified REBT supervisor.
A close look at his theory and views on terrorism post 9/11/01 is a taping of an interview with Albert Ellis and John White. Listeners will hear a live taping of a Friday night workshop where Ellis helps an audience member with their fear of death and will hear Ellis’s views on terrorism and tolerance.
